Madrid, the capital of Spain, is a delight in itself. It imbibes a mixture of monumental architecture set in the heart of Spain, combined with the modernity of new times. The evidence is in the most recent venues and buildings where the contemporary is added to the classical refinement characteristic of Madrid. Cibeles, Puerta de Alcalá and the Retiro Garden are the most representative landmarks of Madrid, alongside the art, architecture, cuisine, nightlife et al.

The city of Madrid is divided into the so-called “barrios”. One of these is known as Madrid of the Austria’s, in relation to the ancient medieval layout of the city and the urban development undergone by the Austria’s with the reign of Carlos I and Felipe II. The tour through this barrio includes the visit of Orient’s Square, Bailen Street, Major Street, Town Square, Cisneros’ House, Lujanes Tower, Codo Street, Carboneras Convent, San Miguel Market, Major Square…

Barcelona, the home of Sagrada Familia and Ramblas, is amongst one of the most international cities of the world. It is magnificent with its modernist architecture and splendorous streets and avenues. As a contemporary version of early 20th century style, the capital of Catalonia offers unparalleled views, parties and a confluence of various cultures. The latest luxury and boutique hotels merge with lifelong accommodation sites that have become part of the history of this vibrant city. Barcelona, in itself is very lively, perfect for the youth and equally elegant for those seeking Art, Architecture or just laying on the beach all day!

The city is for the avid traveler with experiences lined up in every corner. From the parties & alcohol to its cultural heritage, Modernism is scattered everywhere in Barcelona. It has its maximum expressions in the stunning buildings of the architect Gaudí: Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Also famous, the Parc Güell, designed by the same architect, is one of the most important city parks in Barcelona.

Also, there is the gothic part of the city located in the former Roman fortification of the Barcelona.
